Proven applications

Reference Installations

Projects happen on site, under pressure, and to a deadline. These examples show where TTV valves have been engineered and supplied for demanding infrastructure and industrial duties around the world.

Customer names are withheld where required. Final valve selection, materials, actuation, and certification are confirmed against each project specification.

Water & Wastewater

Potable Water Distribution Network — Up to DN2000

The challenge

A major water authority required reliable large-diameter isolation for potable-water distribution and high-flow pumping. Long service life, maintainable sealing, and complete test documentation were central to the specification.

The TTV solution

TTV Hydor double-eccentric, double-flanged butterfly valves were selected. The offset geometry reduces seat contact during operation, helping limit wear across repeated cycles while retaining dependable shut-off at large diameters.

Supplied configuration

TTV Hydor, double eccentric and double flanged
DN range
DN200–DN2000
Seat
Elastic rubber
Operation
Manual AUMA gearbox
Pressure
PN10–PN25

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Large pump stations, trunk mains, treatment plants, dam outlets, and bypass systems across AU/NZ require the same combination of large-bore capability, long-life design, and traceable documentation.

Data & Technology Infrastructure

Data Centre Cooling Systems — Thousands of Valves Supplied

The challenge

A large cooling programme required thousands of consistent butterfly valves, certification traceability, controlled batch quality, and delivery coordinated to a demanding construction schedule.

The TTV solution

TTV supplied a repeatable concentric soft-seated valve programme through its distribution network. ISO 9001 manufacturing and ISO 5208 factory testing supported consistent specification and documentation across the package.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Concentric soft-seated series
Connections
Wafer and lug
Seat
EPDM
Quantity
Thousands of units

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Hyperscale and colocation data-centre builds require high-volume cooling-circuit valve packages with consistent materials, records, and delivery coordination from one supplier.

Oil, Gas & LNG

LNG Terminal — Seawater Cooling & Fire Protection

The challenge

An LNG terminal required butterfly, globe, and gate valves for seawater distribution, cooling circuits, and integrated fire protection, supported by a complete project certification package.

The TTV solution

TTV-JC Valve Group supplied the valve programme and hosted the end-user engineering delegation for factory technical validation. The project included expanded globe and gate valve capability and market-specific certification, with China Tianchen Engineering Corporation referenced as engineering partner.

Supplied configuration

Valves
Butterfly, globe, and gate
Applications
Seawater cooling and fire-protection systems
Documentation
Project certification package
Validation
Factory technical review with end-user delegation

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

AU/NZ LNG and energy facilities use comparable seawater-cooling, fire-water, utility, and process-isolation systems where certification and manufacturer engineering support are essential.

Heavy Industry

Steel Mill — DN700 Automated Process-Water Valve

The challenge

A steel manufacturing facility needed large-bore process-water isolation for continuous service, frequent automated cycling, fail-safe operation, and integration with plant controls.

The TTV solution

A TTV DN700 wafer butterfly valve was assembled with a single-acting spring-return pneumatic actuator. The package was configured to move to its defined safe position on loss of air supply and to support repeatable remote operation.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Concentric wafer DN700, reference 209040
Seat
NBR
Actuator
Single-acting pneumatic, spring return
Flange
ANSI Class 150 between-flange

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Steel, aluminium, minerals-processing, and other continuous industrial plants across AU/NZ depend on large automated valves for process-water and utility circuits.

Chemical & Pharmaceutical

Chemical Plant — DN500 HALAR-Coated Valve

The challenge

A chemical-processing duty required a more resistant disc surface for acids, alkalis, and solvents where standard materials were experiencing premature attack.

The TTV solution

TTV supplied a DN500 wafer butterfly valve with a HALAR (ECTFE) coated disc and Actreg pneumatic actuator. The coating provides broad chemical resistance, subject to confirmation against the operating concentration and temperature.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Concentric wafer DN500
Disc
HALAR (ECTFE) coated
Actuator
Actreg pneumatic
Duty
Aggressive process media

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, and treatment-chemical dosing systems require material selection based on the exact media, concentration, temperature, and cycle conditions.

Custom & Special Projects

DN800 Butterfly Valve with an 8.7-Metre Extension

The challenge

A deeply installed DN800 valve had to be operated from almost nine metres above its mounting level while maintaining alignment, torque transmission, and field maintainability.

The TTV solution

TTV engineered an 8,700 mm extension for a concentric flanged valve. Precision-machined sections and a purpose-designed gearbox created a complete manufacturer-engineered assembly rather than a valve and unrelated field fabrication.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Concentric flanged DN800
Extension
8,700 mm total
Sections
3 × 2,375 mm plus 1 × 1,570 mm
Gearbox
Designed for the application

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Mine dewatering, dam outlets, buried trunk-main chambers, and deep pump wells regularly need non-standard access solutions supported by clear engineering responsibility.

Power & Critical Process

Critical Service — Colossus DN100 with Rotork IQT125

The challenge

A critical process required high-temperature and corrosion-resistant isolation with precise remote control, torque protection, position feedback, and plant-control integration.

The TTV solution

A TTV Colossus DN100 double-flanged valve with an Inconel metallic-seat configuration was paired with a Rotork IQT125 electric quarter-turn actuator. The complete assembly provided IP68 protection, monitored positioning, and diagnostic capability.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Colossus DN100, double flanged
Seat
Inconel metallic-seat configuration
Actuator
Rotork IQT125 electric
Protection
IP68
Integration
PLC/SCADA and industrial protocols

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Power generation, LNG, and critical industrial processes need complete valve-actuator packages whose materials, controls, and safety functions are reviewed as one assembly.

Food, Beverage & Agriculture

Food & Sugar Processing — Valve Packages at Scale

The challenge

Large food and agricultural processors need reliable flow isolation through repeated cleaning cycles, changing temperatures, and high-throughput production while maintaining suitable material documentation.

The TTV solution

TTV offers PTFE and soft-seated butterfly valve configurations for food, beverage, dairy, sugar, and utility services. Seat, disc, body, and cleaning compatibility are selected against the project duty and required food-contact documentation.

Supplied configuration

Valve
Concentric PTFE or soft-seated configuration
Seat
Selected for media and cleaning regime
DN range
Project dependent, from DN32
Documentation
Material and test documentation to specification

Relevance for Australia & New Zealand

Queensland sugar, New Zealand dairy, and food-and-beverage manufacturing require dependable project supply across product-contact and utility systems without treating every duty as identical.
